Purchased for it's looks and performance, as well as reputation. My home theater system needed something to fill in between the speakers and the television. We also wanted a nice radio to leave on for background during the day. Additionally we wanted a small clock that was lit always so that it could be visible during the night. The Tivoli check ed all of the boxes especially with its incredible design and options of colors. Although somewhat expensive I have learned in my '63 years that you pay once and cry once. We are not disappointed in our purchase.

Very nicely finished. Good-looking too. Arrived very promptly. Sound is decent but I expected better. Disappointed that you can't wake up to music, only to the alarm. And the old fashioned mechanical alarm time setter is not quite as accurate as a digital one. It's off by 5 or 10 minutes sometimes. Get used to that before you have to get up on time for an important appointment.

I wanted to let you know that you can wake to music by having the radio on and set to a station before pushing in the button to activate the alarm. If you do this, the alarm will sound on the station and volume that you set.

I am enjoying waking to the beautiful sound of my new clock radio. Simple to operate, elegant in design it is a nice addition to my bedroom. I especially like the option to go to sleep to music, have alarm on but radio automatically off in 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend.
