I work in radio and need to monitor my station-the "over-the-air" signal-not the streamed one through an app. Love: The color...the rechargeable battery (that can also be replaced)...the antenna that can fold out of sight when not in use (Way better than a wire)...the ability to aux in or out of it...Oh yeah, and I can still prove I'm not totally ancient by having a bluetooth option if I need it. Really, no stone left unturned on this design. I had a Model 1 that died so this replaces that unit.

We just purchased a yellow Pal BT to take to Nova Scotia as a gift for friends and they LOVE it. I have one at my studio, we have two at home (his and hers) and my partner has one at his shop, and it’s our favorite gift to give when we want to give something special. Fabulous sound, and aesthetically pleasing size and shape. And the yellow color gives me a little jolt of pleasure whenever I look at it! Bravo Tivoli Audio❤️

I got this for my office. I LOVE it! FM stations come in perfectly. AM stations … I get none, not one AM radio station comes in, but that’s ok with me since I don’t listen to AM radio. But if you do, might not be the best choice, depending on where you are. I’m in the Orlando, FL area and get no AM stations.
The Bluetooth is crazy good on this! Quality sound! FM stations all come in which works for me while working in the office.
I love the the battery is replaceable. All speakers/radios with batteries should have this!
The sound is soooo good that I’m looking forward to getting another Tivoli product one day!

It has asked me repeatedly to re-pair the device with my Iphone after not being able to connect to BT, even while being within a few feet. Not impressed-I had the same problem with your Model 1, the Andiamo Go and a third unit that was a box-sale stereo device who's remote control function stopped working after 1 year ( despite new batteries in the remote).
As on my Anniversary Edition Model 1 I cannot use the provided power supply because I can get no radio reception as soon as I plug it into a power outlet. Same with the PAL BT.
What is up with providing the cheesiest, cheapest adapter with a quality device?
I bought my first PAL after hearing it in a cafe, being taken by the great, balanced sound it put out at good volume, back in 2001 or 2002. When I saw that Henry Kloss designed it I was not surprised any longer, since I am also an audio engineer.
The power supply with the units then lasted for 10 years under permanent use of the radio at home, in the car and on the road and it did not negatively impact the reception and reduce it to white noise.
Right now I am using my second Pal's power supply to charge my new PAL BT as well as to supply power to my Model 1. This is not just disappointing but also annoying .
This is the wrong way of saving a buck in production!
I sure would like a power supply that works for receiving a radio signal.
The only obvious difference on the supply's cable is the little shield unit in line. I can only assume that being the problem, unless of…

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback. I have sent an email explaining some troubleshooting steps that may help when connecting to your PAL BT. Please read them carefully and let us know what you find. As a final note, we do not ever recommend using any power supply with our radios other than the one they come packaged with. Mixing and matching power supplies can cause catastrophic damage to our products.
