Purchased the PAL+ BT with some apprehension. Wanted a compact DAB+ for office. I truly didn’t expect great sound quality from the unit, however, it is really good for its size. Sound is quite rich on the ‘normal’ EQ setting. That’s my preference of the five or so settings. Volume capability is good. Controls are simple and intuitive. Very neat and uncomplicated design. BT and Aux settings a bonus. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on battery life. Remote is handy but maybe not necessary for where you’d typically use a compact unit. Only thing I’ve noticed is that every 5 minutes or so, there’s a brief (like one second or less) break in transmission. It’s like clipping but not. Maybe it’s a normal part of DAB broadcasting? It’s only noticeable because it’s consistent. I assume/hope it’s not a fault so not an issue. I just notice stuff. Highly recommend the DAB+ BT. Service and delivery from Tivoli Audio has always been friendly and prompt. Delivered to Brisbane sooner than expected. Good buy if you want quality, compact, and no more than necessary.
